Using PureSipSpring means accepting what follows. It is short because the site is simple: it publishes descriptions of product listings and descriptions of published standards, and it asks nothing of you.

What the content is and is not

  • Product descriptions here record what a listing stated at the time of writing. Listings change without notice, and the listing is authoritative over this site in every case.
  • Descriptions of certification schemes are summaries of scope, not certificates. The certifier database entry for a specific model is authoritative over this site.
  • Compatibility statements belong to the seller who made them. Nothing here is a confirmation that a cartridge fits a particular appliance.
  • Nothing on this site was tested, measured or timed by this site, and no page claims otherwise.

Water, health and the limits of a catalog

No filter in this catalog makes unsafe water drinkable. Household drinking water filters are designed for water that is already fit to drink. They are not intended for microbiologically unsafe water and they do not replace a boil water advisory from your utility or health department.

This site does not tell anyone how much water to drink. Intake depends on the person, the climate and their health, and drinking too much water carries its own risks. Any volume you type into the tools on this site is your own figure.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing on it is a statement about what any substance does to a person. For anything touching health, ask a clinician; for anything touching your supply, ask your utility and your local health department.

Liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. PureSipSpring is not liable for a purchase that did not fit, a cartridge that did not carry the certification you expected, or any decision taken on the strength of a page here rather than on the strength of the listing, the certifier database and the manufacturer instructions.

Names and marks

Brand names, cartridge codes and standard designations belong to their respective owners and are used here to identify what is being described. No affiliation or endorsement is claimed or implied, in either direction.
